Unless established otherwise, Matrix (Mae) will only use her powers on objects or NPCs and not on the thread partner.

Abilities

Shapeshifting: her base form is a humanoid shape of purplish-pink "protomatter", and she can change her shape and appearance into just about anything of similar mass; shifting into larger sizes or greatly different build (such as Superman instead of Supergirl) is strenuous. The gender change itself is minor, it's the fact that he's bigger than her default.
Psychokinesis: the psychic ability to move, manipulate or otherwise interact with energy and matter with mental effort alone
Energy Projection: using psychokinesis to send a focused blast of force at an enemy
Force Field: extending a psionic barrier around others to shield them from harm (a personal psionic barrier is also the source of her invulnerability)
Invisibility: using the psionic barrier to deflect lightwaves and soundwaves to become invisible and inaudible (even to Superman's sense of hearing)
Superhuman Strength: by using her psychokinesis to augment her phsyical body, she is able to lift approximately 100 tons.
